How Do I Manage My Billing on Apple Subscriptions or Google Play Subscriptions?

When upgrading your FreshBooks account, you have the option to upgrade through us directly, or through Apple's Subscriptions (formerly known as iTunes Subscriptions) on any iOS device or through Google Play Subscriptions on any Android device. Payments to these appear as "FreshBooks [Phone Number]" for Apple App Store and "Google *FreshBooks [Phone Number]" for Google Play on your bank statements.

Apple Subscriptions

You can confirm if you're on an Apple Subscription with these steps:
  1. Log into your account on your web browser at my.freshbooks.com
  2. Click on the gear icon in the top left corner
  3. Then click on Billing & Upgrade

If you see a notification indicating "Looks like you upgraded from your iPhone or iPad", your FreshBooks account is on an Apple Subscription.

While on an Apple Subscription, your billing is handled through Apple directly. This also means you are subject to Apple's Terms and Conditions as well.
You can manage or cancel your subscription with Apple's steps here. If you're looking to upgrade through FreshBooks directly instead, make sure you've cancelled your subscription (no auto-renew) in your Apple account first before reaching out to us.

Google Play Subscriptions

You can confirm if you're on a Google Play Subscription with these steps:
  1. Log into your account on your web browser at my.freshbooks.com
  2. Click on the gear icon in the top left corner
  3. Then click on Billing & Upgrade

If you see a notification indicating "Looks like you upgraded from your iPhone or iPad", your FreshBooks account is on a Google Play Subscription.

While on a Google Play Subscription, your billing is handled through Google Play directly. This also means you are subject to Google Play's Terms and Conditions as well.
You can manage or cancel your subscription with Google Play's steps here. If you're looking to upgrade through FreshBooks directly instead, make sure you've cancelled your subscription (no auto-renew) in your Google Play account first before reaching out to us.
